Do your gardening chores ever just completely get away from you? I probably sound like a broken record, here, but I feel like Ive hardly had any time this summer to spend working in my gardens.
We had another garden tour last night, which was greatagain, because we actually took a leisurely walk around the yard with our guests and then sat out on the deck and had a glass of wine. Thank goodness for the visitors we occasionally have, or I feel like wed never see our own gardens!
I was hoping to spend some time gardening this weekendwe scheduled an at home weekend instead of a lake weekend because we knew we were getting our peaches this week and might need to spend the weekend canning. But, as it turns out, I am having a
(hopefully) minor procedure done tomorrow, so I will be spending the weekend resting and recuperating, not gardening.
If Im feeling up to it, Ill try to do an amazingly entertaining post on Friday (haha).
Otherwise, it might be Monday. . . . So, my apologies if this leaves you feeling the least bit disappointed.
But I will return! And Ill leave you with this photograph of my wheelbarrowits certainly filled out this year.
