Happy Halloween!

It’s my favorite day of the year again!  Well, ok, maybe second or third favorite. But I just love Halloween!

I thought I’d take this opportunity to share something different with you. . . sorry, no gardening today.

I have a little collection of figurines from The Nightmare Before Christmas–one of my very favorite movies. And this year Trevor surprised me with a few new ones.

We got this Jack Skellington figurine on the right in Disneyworld, and then found Sally and the big Jack head right here in town.

I’d had a few other little Jacks for a couple of years, picked up here and there in stores and online.

Then, this year, as I was putting out my Halloween decorations (no small task), Trevor surprised me with these four (!) new ones.

They’re so cute, aren’t they?  Their little elbows bend so you can move the masks closer to their faces.

I can’t believe that in a few weeks I’ll be putting out my Christmas village. . . but for today, I’m going to revel in all things spooky.
