I’m not sure if that’s such a good thing.
But I guess we all have to re-commit to reality after vacation.
We had a wonderful time in Zihuatanejo–it really is a different world. Sun, sand, the sound of the surf, and massages on the beach. . . sometimes it really is difficult to come back.
This is us saying good-bye to the ocean on the last day, just before we got in the cab to the airport. It was really hard to put shoes and jeans on again.
I will say one thing, though; although we had a fantastic time, this time I was actually ready to come back. I’m not sure exactly why it was different, but I have a feeling it has something to do with being in a better “place” than I was last year at this time.
I really am glad to be home.
But that doesn’t mean I’m not really looking forward to lake season!

We’re packing up – see you soon. Back to the real world of ice and snow.
Well, at least it’s about 25 degrees warmer than it was when we left–so things seem to be looking up a bit.
See you soon!
