Where no condiment has gone before

This post has nothing to do with gardening or cooking. If you stop by regularly, you’re probably used to my random ramblings by now. But if you had your heart set on some good gardening reading today, I’m afraid you’re going to be disappointed. :)

I bought myself a couple of early Christmas presents this year.

I’ve been a Star Trek fan since I was a kid (and I’m sensing I just lost a few of you). ;)   The original series. And the newer movies are also favorites of mine.  I must admit, I had quite the crush on Spock as a 12-year-old. (Ah, that is, when I was 12, not when Spock was 12. You know what I mean.)

So, when I ran across these on amazon, I just had to order them.

Yes, those are Kirk and Spock salt and pepper shakers.  And they have little magnets on them so they attach to each other, because, of course, Kirk and Spock are practically inseparable. ;)

Then, just a week or so ago, I ran across these little cuties.

What Star Trek condiment set would be complete without Bones and Uhura, I ask you? :)

So I ordered this duo as well, and now I’ve got the four friends adorning my kitchen counter.  Each and every time I see them I smile to myself.  Which was worth the price all by itself. :)
